Uproot envisions a future in 2050 where food scarcity has reshaped the way we eat. In this speculative scenario, lab-grown food from insects, vegetables, cultured meat, and algae meets our nutritional needs through smart technology. A body-implanted chip communicates with devices to 3D print tasteless meals tailored to individual requirements. To enhance the experience, users select scents—like waffles or omelettes with bacon—delivered through a diffuser, leveraging the science of smell to simulate taste. Uproot challenges perceptions of food, sustainability, and technology in a world of limited resources.
Role ◡ concept development, prototyping, audiovisual storytelling

Collective Mindspace is a social research installation designed for the community to share their experiences, fears, struggles, and hopes during the first COVID-19 lockdown when people faced unprecedented uncertainty and needed a way to express and reflect on their emotions. The installation guides visitors through a journey where they can record their testimonies and write their thoughts on the outer walls, fostering a sense of shared experience and introspection. The experience and sound design of Collective Mindspace mirrors society's emotional journey from uncertainty to acceptance and hope, encouraging visitors to reflect on their resilience and future aspirations.
